David Huskins Tapped as Director of Development for Brevard Music Center (Brevard, NC January, 2005)

David Huskins currently serves as Director of Development for the Brevard Music Center (BMC) in Brevard, NC.  The Brevard Music Center is a residential summer institute and festival that teaches gifted young musicians to prepare and perform great musical works at a high artistic level. 

His responsibilities include major giving, foundations and government funding, annual fund, alumni affairs and planned giving. 

Prior to his appointment at BMC, David worked for eleven years as the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs for Brevard College in Brevard.  At Brevard College, he was responsible for major gift fundraising, communications and activities for Brevard College's 15,000 alumni. 

David volunteers on the board of directors of MANNA Food Bank in Asheville, NC, and Free Rein Center for Therapeutic Riding and Education in Brevard.
